  • Rookie Mistake

The title for this post may seem a bit strange. Although once you read through what lead me to capturing this image then it will make perfect sense.

  • Bradleys Head

This is Bradleys Head which is a nice small spot, just north of the Sydney CBD area. I went here a few weeks ago for the wedding shoot (a post on this is incoming real soon) and really enjoyed this spot. I actually hope to revisit this location soon so I can do some long exposures at sunset. Hopefully the weather is nice with some light clouds this weekend 😀…

  • Mirrorless Dilemma

I originally got the M5 since I wanted something small and easy to carry around. At first I managed to carry it with me daily but as of recently, I have been a bit lazy. As I am trying to focus more on photography this year, I am going to make the effort to have the M5 with me wherever I go.

  • Hunter & Barrel

This is a shot from quite a while back now at a restaurant called Hunter & Barrel. They do really nice steak which is one of my favorite foods. There was really nice window light while I was waiting for my food so I decided to capture this 🙂

  • Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS

I recently got some new Yongnuo 622c II triggers and decided to give them a test. This was taken with a Yongnuo 685 fired at 1/16th power through a softbox umbrella, 1 meter from the subject on camera right. I also had a reflect at the same distance on camera left to fill shadows that were on the left of the lens.

  • Return of the Race

The amazing race is back on TV and I couldn’t be happier!

  • Long Exposures with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS

Despite loving my Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L and owning it for many years, I finally made the upgrade to the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS. This lens had been on my wish list for quite some time now and after managing to sell my 17-40, I finally purchased it. I’m really loving this lens so far and can’t wait to get out and use it more!

  • George Street Reopened (Kinda)

Just over a week ago George Street was reopened here in Sydney. Although it’s still not finished, it is already looking great and made for a great atmosphere over the weekend.

  • The Holiday Fun Is All Over

All the Christmas holiday fun is sadly over and it is back to work tomorrow.  With less than one week left of 2017, it is time to decide on goals for 2018. I haven’t really set any particular goals so far, but I do have some in mind. I know for when it comes to photography I plan to do another 52 week project. The structure really helps me shoot…

  • Christmas Dinner

Our setup for Christmas Dinner 🙂
