Darling Square

Very recently a new area opened here in Sydney. This area is Darling Square which can be seen in the featured image at the top of the page.

The spiral type building is actually houses a library, food hall and other things. I have to say I really like the design of it.

I had walked past the previous night during the opening but didn’t have my camera with me. I decided to take the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS as it works well for these kinds of shots.

Below is another image form the area behind The Exchange.

This small ally is really nice and filled with restaurants and stores. This whole area has been blocked off and under construction for a long time now, it’s good to finally see it complete!

As I was walking home, I noticed the area which can be seen in the image below.

It was quite dark as you can tell but there was this bright warm light coming from the building. Even though it’s here in Sydney, i feel like one could believe this was somewhere else in the world judging by the building.

This image looked quite different straight out of camera but this is what it looked liked to my eyes. I have actually recorded a video of myself editing this image from start to finish. It should be released within the next few weeks over at The Photography Enthusiast.

Otherwise enjoy the images and my next post won’t be too far away.
